Terms of use.

Real Good Mood publishes and runs realgoodmood.com (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the site, the writing on it, the members’ pages and any order placed through them. They apply to you the moment you use the site.

The site is written for, and sold to, adults. You must be 21 or older to read it, to join it and to order from it. If you are under 21, please leave; nothing here is for you yet.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site. If you have a question about them, write to us and a person will answer.

The writing is open to any adult who confirms their age at the door. You may read it, link to it and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish a whole piece, scrape the site, or use its text, photographs or films for training a machine or for anything commercial without asking first.

The writing is editorial. It describes rooms, hours and habits. It is not advice of any kind, medical or otherwise, and it should not be read as such.

Some parts of Real Good Mood are for members, 21 and over. Joining asks for an email address, a password and your date of birth. You confirm that all three are true and yours, and you keep them up to date.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep the password to yourself; tell us at once if you think someone else has it. We may close an account that was opened with false details, that is shared, or that is used to get around the age rule, and we may do so without notice.

An order placed through the members’ pages is a request to buy, not a completed sale. We accept it by sending a confirmation, and we may decline or cancel any order before dispatch — for example when we cannot ship to the destination, when a payment does not settle, when an item is out of stock, or when we believe the order breaks these terms.

Payment is a separate step that follows by email once an order is placed. No order is complete until it is paid and confirmed. Charges, taxes and delivery costs are shown before you confirm, and an obvious error in any of them may be corrected before dispatch; if that happens you may cancel.

You confirm, on each order, that you are 21 or older, that the destination is one we may ship to, and that you have read the shipping restrictions. We record the time and the network address of that confirmation, and we may share it with a carrier or a regulator who asks.

We ship within the United States only, in plain paper, to the address you give. Some states are excluded and the list may change; the current list is on the Shipping page, which forms part of these terms.

Sealed, unopened items may be returned within thirty days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method, less the cost of return. For safety and regulatory reasons an opened item cannot be returned. Anything that arrives damaged or does not arrive at all is replaced or refunded when you tell us within fourteen days of the expected delivery.

Anything sold to members is labelled, and the label governs. Read it before use and follow it. Nothing on this site changes, extends or contradicts what the packaging says.

The goods are for adults 21 and over. They are not for use if you are pregnant or nursing, and you should ask a physician before using them if you take medication or have a medical condition. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and statements about them have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

You are responsible for knowing the law where you live and where you have an order delivered. Do not order something that is not lawful for you to receive.

The site, its text, photographs, films, typography, layout and marks belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Letters quoted on the site are used with their writers’ permission and remain theirs.

You keep the rights to anything you send us. By sending a letter you allow us to quote it, in whole or in part, with initials and month only, unless you tell us not to. We may edit for length. We never print a full name, a city, or anything that identifies you without asking.

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or of anything bought through it, and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state to be confirmed] and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to each other will be heard in the courts of that state, unless the law where you live gives you a right to be heard elsewhere.

We may revise these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did. A change that affects members materially is announced by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the site after that date means you accept it.

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms, the Privacy, Disclaimer and Shipping pages together are the whole agreement between you and us.
